Nicole was born and raised in Kennewick, WA where she grew up on her family's 5,000 acre wheat farm. Being a farmer's daughter, she grew up listening to country music from a young age, helping her dad out around the farm when she could, and riding 4-wheelers down the country backroads with her friends. She attended Southridge High School and graduated in 2015 as Valedictorian and Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. She then moved to Portland, OR to attend the University of Portland where she graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 2019 and as University Scholar for the Pamplin School of Business. Every summer during her college career, she moved back to the Tri-Cities and drove combine for her dad during wheat harvest. She has been swing dancing continuously for 9 years and after turning 21, started exploring new places to swing dance with friends, citing some of her favorite places to dance as The Branding Iron and the Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo. During one of her breaks at home from college, she first heard Stompin' Ground play and fell in love with their high-energy level, passion for country music, and the effortless way they always get the crowd out on the dance floor. Stompin' Ground is by far Nicole's favorite local band and she loves singing along to the music while dancing the night away. Nicole is so excited for the opportunity to rep the band as Ms. Stompin' Ground for 2020 and for all the new adventures to come!
